Course Title: Risk Management

Course Overview: This course has been designed to give the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake effective risk assessments and job safety analysis in the workplace, and safe work method statements.

This is an entry level course for workers designed to aid workers in identifying hazards and identifying risk and implanting controls.

This course will also give practical knowledge and experience in completing risk assessments to workers.

We tailor our courses to the client’s industry’s and needs this ensure once the student leaves the course, they have completed all the learning required by the organisation.

Course Objectives:

Introduction to WHS legislation and relevant risk assessment sections
Roles and responsibilities of management and employee’s
How to identify hazards in the workplace
How to identify risks
How to select effect control methods in the workplace from the hierarchy of controls
How to carry out consultation as part of a risk assessment
How to implement, monitor and review risk assessment’s
Identifying the roles of individuals in the business effective risk management in the workplace.

Certification:

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Risk Management Statement of Completion. Although non-accredited, the course is designed based on industry best practices and guidance.
